Hey! How was your summer? Mine was primo! (For
those of you who did not come of age in the drug culture of
the 1970s, "primo" -- pronounced pree-moe -- specifically
referred to a high grade of cannabis, but generally meant anything
really, really good. The opposite of "bogus." Right.
That's enough of that. Don't want a stupid linguistics discussion
to bogart this letter.)
But, yes, my summer was great and in fact I'm having a little
trouble letting go. Part of that is the romantic notion of
long, lazy summer days. But mostly it's the cold reality of
a crushing load of work, school support, and extracurriculars
that are before me.
That being the case, I gotta figure a way to wedge these letters
into the mix. For this week, I'm already behind, so I thought
I'd at least get the comics flowing and hope time for commentary
follows. This week's comic is pretty self-explanatory anyway.
(For those wondering what a "pre-Windows" computer
is, it's a computer that's pretty much useless in school. You
know, a burnout.)
